Tuesday Tidbit

Tidbit:  Conrad Grebel is about generations. What heirloom do you own that belonged to your grandparents or great-grandparents?  What does that heirloom mean to you?  Many memories are spent around a family table enjoying great food and time together.  As plates, glasses and silverware scrape along the table top those marks become stories to later generations.  Family antiques are valuable because they have stories to tell of days gone by.  Wouldn’t it be nice to pass down a valuable asset to your grandchildren that has stories to tell?  As a gift to our customers Conrad Grebel provides a card with each dining  room or bedroom set.  As a gift from our family to yours we can customize a plaque for you that commemorates your investment…free!  It’s our way of saying “thank you” for inviting our furniture into your family.

Quote:  “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” – John F. Kennedy

Just for Laughs:  ”If at first you don't succeed... so much for skydiving.” – Henny Youngman

Fun Amish Fact:  On Black Friday this week you won’t typically see the Amish drag racing their buggies to power shop in the middle of the night.  Instead they will be spending time with extended family enjoying the simple things in life.  There will be family gatherings with plenty of food, drink and social activities to last the entire weekend.  The Amish are thankful for what God has given them, including their families, their farms and their simple way of life.  Perhaps there’s a lesson to be learned from their example…
