From the Kitchen of Grandma Edna - Beef Stew

Beef Stew

2 lbs. meat – beef – cubed

1 med. chopped onion

4 med. potatoes, diced

1 cup celery, diced

2 carrots, diced

1 can cheddar cheese soup or tomato soup

1/2. cup water

Tbsp. Minute tapioca



Layer items in order in a slow cooker or casserole dish except for soup, water & Tapioca. Mix the can of soup with water and add the tapioca. Mix well and pour all over the vegetables. 



Cover and bake at 250 for 4.5-5 hours.


If desired, you can use more vegetables with the same amount of meat.
