From the Kitchen of Grandma Edna

Goulash, this week's recipe, is perfect for midweek when you are looking for something easy to make for dinner. Minimal prep but full flavor. Pair it with a salad or fresh vegetable and dinner is on the table!

Goulash

 

Serves 6-8

 

Ingredients:

3/4 lb. ground hamburger

1 c. macaroni

1 small onion, chopped

1 1/2 c. tomato juice

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/2 c. catsup

1/4 c. sugar

 

Mix all together in a pan with a tight lid. When it steams, turn it down to low heat for 30 minutes. 

If you have lean hamburger you don't have to brown it – just mix all ingredients together.
